Recruitment in Sweden

Can you tell us a bit about your background in Talent Acquisition: which industries or types of roles have you recruited for the most, and what has shaped you as a recruiter?
In 2012 while getting my degree I was part of a team that handed out our number to everyone that applied and phone screened everyone in the right location. Hectic and immensely fun. From working with amusement parks to tech, I’ve seen a lot of different roles and organizations. If I have to choose, all things tech is where I’ve found my home.
What are you working on right now in your assignment with us, and what's the biggest challenge or opportunity you see in it?
Since the start of the month I’ve been at Statkraft, with tech recruitment as my primary mission. Stepping into the role of a consultant after spending my career in-house is definitely going to be a change for me and I definitely see an opportunity in that challenge.
What engages you most in the recruitment and People world right now?
I’ve always hoped to build as much humanity as possible into how we create space for people inside organizations. That feeds into many conversations about why we operate the way we do and how we build systems.
Lately, I’ve been on a Total Rewards philosophy binge, we’ll see where we go from here!
Outside of work, what fills your battery?
Family, friends and the Minnesota Vikings. Two of these fill me with immense joy, the third is a sports team that challenges your perception of hope.
Tell us a fun fact about you!
I’ve podcasted for 14 years about the NFL, American football in Swedish.
